Daniel Rip brings more than 33 years of experience in commercial real estate, combining entrepreneurial leadership, municipal expertise, and hands-on brokerage representation. His background includes co-founding a mortgage bank and a real estate brokerage, practicing commercial appraisal, managing development projects, and overseeing a municipal real estate portfolio valued in excess of $1 billion.
Daniel played a significant role in shaping portions of Salt Lake City’s real estate landscape through his work in land use planning, capital improvement funding, land entitlement, LIHTC programs, and affordable housing initiatives. He successfully navigated complex political processes involving public property disposition and directed the sourcing and acquisition of sites for two of Salt Lake City’s homeless resource centers.
As a commercial advisor with ACRES Utah, Daniel represents investors, business owners, and developers in retail, multifamily, land, and investment transactions. His experience uniquely positions him to guide clients through entitlement challenges, public-private partnerships, and development strategy while mitigating risk and uncovering value.

Outside of work, Daniel enjoys traveling and outdoor pursuits including fly fishing, hiking, biking, skiing and scuba diving, as well as spending time with his family.
